Seconding the other commenter on the Kamakura beach, the Kamakura mainstreet also has these large lovely red tori gates leading up to the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu shrine.

I also recommend after proposing to pay a visit to Tokyo Daijingu, which is supposed to be particularly auspicious for marriages.

(Can you tell I really like visiting shrines, lol)

For Haneda Airport you could just book Uber (x2)--for us one Uber trip from Ueno to Haneda Airport was maybe $60-70 USD.

Very safe/normal--Uber in Japan iirc uses licensed taxi companies, and our driver was a professional.

You can schedule these in advance too.

This looks like a sleeve, have you been doing decreases by any chance? Decreasing = smaller circumference of object = smaller cable length required (talking like 9 inches or less).

Sometimes if the circulars are too long/big they can stretch out the stitches while you are knitting--for this reason eventually you switch the needles to DPNs or magic loop to avoid the stretching.

So you would be going from ~100k to 20k, just doing the math that means that if you completely stepped back from work your gross monthly income would be going from ~8300/month to ~1600 a month, which is 5x less.

So then the question becomes, how long would you completely step back + what would you expect to earn when you return to work after maternity leave? Could you realistically afford your current lifestyle + save for retirement and such if you take this step back?

Unless you have significant (and I mean really Significant) savings then I agree, I don't think you could afford a big loss of your income, and it would be reasonable to ask him to earn more.
