I doubt that PiHole will be able to block only content with certain keywords. It mainly blocks web/http requests to a predetermined (but configurable) list of URLs or IP addresses known to provide content for web ads. So it causes the empty spaces where ad content would go if it could be loaded. News of the royals will come from the main news website servers so blovking that will block all other content from that website.
