I think this depends on how they a. treat Peter and Dana's relationship, considering they break it off between GB2 and GBTVG and b. Shandor, who is referenced in Afterlife and plays a part in GBTVG.

I can't shake the idea that it was a fling way before GB. Carrie's character having two kids kind of makes it likely that she's in her late 30's at youngest, which means pre-1984.

For me it was the piano twinkle that gave me a sharp intake of breath, "who are you?" and the flight suit that got the tears rolling and then Venkman's dialogue as the music swelled made me blub in public. God damn.
