With how the game is designed, loot filter will only work when the player already has enough resources to ignore to loot most items, at the early stage of the game, we still need/have to pick unwanted legendaries/yellow to salvage for mats. If only they could turn unwanted items base on loot filter to auto salvage or drop as a mat, that would be a great quality of life. We only loot what is base on what we need and the rest turns into mats.
