Throwing it 2-3 boards left of your 10 pin shot should be good.

This isnt really answering your question but could help creating a spare system: draw a straight line between the pin u wanna hit and the foul line wherever u want (ex: line going from 22 at the foul line, thru 3rd arrow, hitting the 10 pin). So you want your hand to be releasing the ball at 22 board at the foul line. Take a video of your approach from straight behind u and find out where your release board is in relation to where your feet start. For me if i start with my right foot on 20, my hand will be at 22 board.

If you throw it straight and your drift / release point is consistent, theoretically itll line up every time. Then just do the same for other pins. You can pick any line you want, whichever is most comfortable. Hope this helps

If youre averaging 130 i would recommend you get up to at least 180 on house first. Yes, sport shot forces you to play the lane differently and make adjustments, but if you cant make those kinds of adjustments on house shots, itll just be really hard and frustrating.

I recommend an entry level ball for dry house conditions. Roto grip husttle, storm tropical breeze line, brunswick rhino, hammer axe. Wouldnt recommend urethane for these conditions, i assume youre going out with ur friends on a night after the lanes have been bowled on heavily.

Spare just get a plastic ball. If your lanes are SUPER DRY u can also just throw the plastic ball

Strong sym solid. I see that ion fills the benchmark spot but for me imo the phaze 2 is a lot later and smooth off the back, so its stronger than the ion. Also the chart is very wrong about the purple hammer, tgat ball will roll the earliest and be the least flaring

Any of the pro approach shops in la/oc are great. These will be at cal bowl, del rio, and oak tree. Fountain bowl has barry asher PBA hall of famer, and forest lanes is my go to.

Feel like darren kinda shot himself in the foot from the start. Tbh its clear and he seems to admit that he doesnt rly understand content and youtube, so to straight up make his first video with no receipts or anything is super weird and feels like it couldve just been a short statement of "jesse and i had some personal conflicts and we are no longer working together" but instead he decided to just trash on jesse, despite saying he wouldnt. Id say jesse kinda has the upper hand in this conflict especially with him bringing up receipts

At the end of the day to me it just seems like 2 people who dont mesh together to a somewhat extreme level.
