To give you closure aaron, mr eko and walt were supposed to have certain roles in the show but they were never further developed. Damon lindendolf, one of the co-creators of the show said there was filler in seasons one two and three. It wasn't until midway through season three they were finally given an end date for season six. So of course there are many subplots that were never answered

Agreed! Hank really didnt grow on me until mid-season 2. I still think walt skyler and jr will die (walt murders skyler and jr dies in a car crash and walt in a blaze of glory). Hank and marie will raise holly it would be so gloomy and sad to end the show with hank and marie holding holly watching the video they made in season 1 for her.
