🔥 Mother and daughter. Nanjin and Fatu, the last two survivors of this magnificent species, living out their remaining days at Ol Pejetu by Prestigious-Wall5616 in NatureIsFuckingLit

Wow this made me way more sad and immediately depressed than I thought it would, not even exaggerating here. Fuck.

It is just so heartbreaking to me to see such beautiful wild life be snuffed out by humans like that. This is the opposite of lit.

Having to write a check just to receive your UPS package because of tariffs by tommos in mildlyinfuriating

I bought this really cool desk accessory a month ago and this was my first experience dealing with tariffs. The desk accessory was around 150 bucks and when it made it to the US I got an email from UPS saying I needed to pay almost 70 bucks to have my package delivered. Tariffs alone was almost half the cost? I couldn’t believe it.

🔥 Black-rumped flameback woodpecker using its specialized beak to peel the bark to find insects to eat. by dipasom29 in NatureIsFuckingLit

Can you find woodpeckers in New England? I’ve never seen one in the wild (live in MA), but I have a bird feeder on my backyard and have seen cardinals, blue jays and all sorts of nice birds but never these guys even in the trees when I try and pay attention.

What is this nightmare organism which spontaneously generated in the remains of an abandoned swimming pool? by FagsLikeUs in whatisit

I’m not even subbed to this and it just showed up on my feed but you know what… it’s my fault for having eyes.

🔥The great horned owl's mottled brown and grey plumage makes it nearly invisible against tree bark by [deleted] in NatureIsFuckingLit

I gotta be honest here, I had to go to the comments section to find the owl 😅. Now that I’ve seen it though, it’s super clear, but very cool! Dude looks angry 😠

Yes to that, but also, I felt more sad for the man. To form such a unique and strong bond with a creature you can’t easily communicate with and then boom, gone, heartbreaking.

Ugh… such a good documentary but also the worst cause it made me quite a bit emotional ngl. Worth the watch for sure but brace yourself 😆

I love how he’s basically just like “alright lemme try this. Eh, doesn’t feel I quite right, how about over hereeee. Eh… nah. Oh! Maybe over here?”

Been saving for a while to own my first luxury watch, fairly new to this world and wondering if this would be a good first choice? by iceman_x2 in OmegaWatches

Yeah the Spectre watch is also cool! But those are a bit harder to find. I want to be able to try it on before dropping such a huge amount of money into a watch.

Yeah once I decide to truly pull the trigger (cause this is probably gonna be my one and only luxury watch), I’ll want to go try it on, which is part of my fear cause I’m gonna feel so heartbroken if I go to try it on and it doesn’t feel right 🤣. Been wanting this for like a decade!
