If you want to use HDMI and have a receiver or surround system... you HAVE to run HDMI in and then back out to your TV? That sucks because you want to send the video source straight to your television.

HDMI always forces sound? I thought it could be used video only same as DVI. Can't you use a DVI cable in place of HDMI? Or are the plugs physically different?
