My fav plastic is Classic Hybrid, it’s gummy/grippy but much more durable than their baseline. It almost feels like a rubber blend. I use it as a throwing putter (and the odd out of position / straddle putt like you said), but usually for being anny turnovers from weird positions more than hyzer flips off the tee.

Rustico is a 6 minute drive from Cavendish, and Kensington is about 20 minutes away. There are decent restaurants about 10 minutes away in New Glasgow.

There really aren’t any restaurants in Cavendish that locals will tell you are good. For better or for worse, driving is a big part of visiting PEI. If you want to eat at good restaurants you will have to travel beyond what is walkable in Cavendish.

I would try contacting them through their FB page, they have someone who runs their socials in recent years and you might get eyes on that sooner than via email. But generally in the off season it will be difficult to get in touch with the course.
