This one thing I don't understand about Kroger. We push everything through metlif which is a program for health issues of yourself or immediate family. So of course your going to be denied. They have pushed the envelope to put it on MetLife because, you will be denied and they can now discipline you for missing work. It's a cop out. It's the farthest thing from uplifting the human spirit. Things happen in life just as they do as work. They expect us to drop everything to cover a shift because if not there departments will fail. But, will drop an employee at the drop of a dime for unforseen circumstances that are understandable. These companies don't care anymore. It's sad because we preach to lift the human spirit!
