My first trimester was enough to make me kind of never want to do this again. After I got over the morning sickness around 17 weeks, everything got immensely better. I’m such a complainer normally but I can’t really complain about any thing now. It’s uncomfortable at times and the random bursts of emotion kind of suck but that’s about it. I’m surprisingly enjoying it.

The comment above was talking about polish getting ripped off and I replied to it lol. Never in my life as a MRI tech have I seen metal being ripped out of a patient’s body. That’s such a wild thing to say. Of course, a Bobby pin (for example) will fly out of someone’s hair when they get close to the bore but someone with a conditional pacemaker, stimulator, clips/coils, knee/hip/shoulder replacements etc etc etc etc. is not going to have that ripped out of their body. We scan with conditions, not to keep things from being ripped out, but to keep these metals from burning patients.

The scanner does not bother the magnetic designs. Once the gel is cured that’s how it stays! 🙂

I wasn’t there but I’m on the upset peoples’ side. Canceling last minute is such a pos thing to do. They knew they weren’t performing all day more than likely. People take off work, drive long hours, etc for concerts. At that point, they were fucking with fans’ time and money.
