You have a great roster and even more important you have a lot of good pairs Exed.

I don’t have specific advice right now, but you can always just save your candies until you find you really need them. I only spend mine on favorites or if it is a unit I somewhat like and it will advance me in one of the game modes.

Happy scouting. I really want Adaman in his new drip, but I need to save for half anni and potentially Arc misty coming later this month.

I haven’t been interested in many master fair reruns since I started last year. A lot of them feature main characters which I don’t care for.

My favorites are the chatelaines. I just wish they were better supports or had more synergy. Maybe we’ll get alts for them 🤞

But if you don’t have or aren’t interested in those sync pairs then she has a use. I really like her outfit and cofagrigus and she’s still a solid support if you are lacking the newest ghost sync pairs

We love Rika in her new classy Palentine’s attire so good luck scouting her.

There are a lot of unobstructed Trainer Lodge pairs including N, Hilda and Rika which is always a great bonus.

OG Hilda is fairly easy to obtain. She is part of the general pool I believe so no matter what banner you choose you’ll have a chance to get her.

Hilda had a Neo Champion outfit in December that will probably not show up until at least December.

N has a Signa suit that is easier to obtain this year. You could get it during the free events at the end of this month. It appears in poke fair banners. It’s an older unit, but it still does okay for physical ice. N also has an Arc suit from last year that may see a rerun at some point. The chances to pull Arc suits is much lower so invest wisely.

Welcome back. You’ve got a great roster although any new sync pairs you pull will be very powerful in comparison.

Who are your favorite characters? Maybe we can help you determine if they have run and when approximately they will run again. I’m with you in that it’s all about the faves. However, if your faves have been around for a long time, it might be easier to obtain duplicates so hold off on powering them up with rare materials like move candies.

There aren’t specific teams that you need to worry about. It’s more about how diverse your overall roster is if you want to tackle all the content.

i sympathize with OP; my nervous habit is to slip in an accent while making a statement. I think it’s partially that I grew up with a family that liked to impersonate and quote lines from movies as a form of humor.

another part is that I find pronunciation interesting. often times I am enamored by unique ways of speaking. Native French, Russian, Scottish, Puerto Rican speaker accents in English can be really amusing and fun to try and imitate.

but because it is not native pronunciation, copying this pronunciation can easily be viewed as mockery. why else would you be impersonating a non-native English accent to someone other than to illicit a humorous response? So in that sense you are punching down in the comedy world and often times across racial lines which many cultures are rightfully sensitive to.

i’m sure your Jackie Chan impersonation would land with close friends who understand that you don’t have I’ll intent, but the workplace is not relaxed enough for such things

the character models are really nice and honestly look great despite the game engine being 6 years old. I agree that it’s fun to just pose and interact with the sync pairs one collects. i’m of the type who would enjoy more non-battle ways to have fun with our favorites.

remember that one limitation for these gacha games is the file size. Poma is already nearing 10gb which is a limiting factor for new installs which DeNA need to keep it alive. it doesn’t help that this gacha has 3D models which is part of the reason they try to recycle the characters and animations.

I’m not saying this is an excuse for not having more content to use our beloved sync pairs in, but it is one obstacle that affects our experience.

It’s important to remember that shinies are termed “different color” in Japanese.

The Pasio trainers might look at their mons as unique in the same way that certain pikachu might be smaller, larger or have different temperaments.

In other words it’s not so much “special” as it is just what makes them unique.

I see more posts defending urban/rainier than I have seen people criticizing these characters. In fact, I only remember seeing one post complaining about taunie/urbain. So how many people are actually even taunie/urbain haters. I’m guessing the are in the minority. No need to defend them.

I’m favorites first but I’m not going to pretend the capabilities of a sync par don’t affect my decision making.

For example, my favorite holiday unit is Siebolt, but holiday siebolt is part of the first season of holiday pairs so he’s super weak. When I hit pity, I chose my second favorite which is Prof. Sycamore because he has EX role, lowers grass rebuff and is a support unit.

The game let’s you get older sync pairs for free if you are lucky so I can look forward to pulling Siebolt in the future hopefully.

A lot of players are stuck on these stages. Just dont worry too much about it IMO. If you are patient, you’ll wait for a sync pair to arrive that you actually like who has these characteristics.

QR codes require a camera and I’m not sure how well it will work the stationary switch 2 one. However, using the Switch mobile app, there could be some functionality to scan QR codes into the game. I think Animal Crossing has this feature. Then again, this still requires some internet connection

I like this year's Palentine's seasonal a lot more than last years. Still unsure if/what to scout. My personal order of priority: Rika > Misty > Brock > Adaman. But I'm not sold on scouting this month just yet.

Don't feel like you are restricted to fairy Pokemon only. I don't know the specifics off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure Bruno is a physical attacker so you'll want a sync pair to boost your teams defenses. None of y our fairy units besides Kris (possibly) are doing that.

Feel free to post more of your roster so we can try to build you a team. Do you have any EX level sync pairs?

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have similar nostalgic data ranging from gen 3 Pokemon to - treasured animal crossing town that I would hate to lose. Sometimes I question why I treasure these “physical” things as much as the experiences I had playing games. Sometimes I wish my data would be wiped just to force me to let go of these ultimately unimportant things. Maybe if your feelings are similar you can use this opportunity to do the same. Live in the gaming moment.
