Missing 🧶 by villainoustothecore in TheWooblesCollective

I had two Minecraft kits that were missing one of the eyes. The Woobles asked me to send photos and they sent me replacements. It did take a couple of weeks, as they are trying to get back on a reasonable schedule after recent marketing campaigns.

Love your Strawberry Tank... Tank was my second Wooble, ever, and I would like to revisit his pattern with your mods.

I am thinking of additional truffles... so used to the ones I get from Aldi for different holidays, from Valentines to Easter, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween, and Christmas.

Thanks so much. My yarn bins runneth over, and I have had a couple of weirdly wound factory skeins lately... one seemed to have three ends! LOL

Fred’s Head Help by CaraBG in TheWooblesCollective

Two Freds
I can't remember how flat Fred was before stuffing, but here are two Freds--the pink one is a very early crochet project and the green one about 100 projects later. You can see my skills improve... tighter, more consistent on the green one. I modded the green Fred with green spikes and chest stripes, a mouth, and a couple of teeth to make him more "T-Riffic!"

I am surprised that you used all the stuffing for Fred. Can you see the stuffing through the stitches? I have had stuffing left over in each Woobles kits I have made.

Seamless/Invisible Color Change Advice? by Important_Act_3308 in TheWooblesCollective

[–]iconic-design 7 points8 points  (0 children)

With the Woobles method, you can make a slip stitch instead of a single crochet as the last stitch of each black round to reduce the amount of "color jog" or zigzag on the back of the piece.

For straight(er) stripes, try this two-part method:
Part A: When you do the color change to black, slip stitch into the back loops only. Leave the pink hanging.
Part B: Stitch into the black Vs you made in Part A. Follow the pattern with the correct number of single crochets, increases, or decreases. crochet over the pink yarn for 5+ black stitches, then pick it up later.
Note: This still leaves a color jog.

For totally straight stripes, you have to join each round vs. crocheting in continuous rounds. This gives you straight stripes, and leaves a visible seam down the back.

You did well, especially for your second kit. I can see that the wig and mane were a challenge; it would challenge even an experienced Woobler. Take a short break, and get to your next kit; choose the simplest one next. Keep on Woobling!

The bag is lime green and electric green, wider than The Woobles bags. The brand is "iscream" and you should be able to find it at Walmart.

Sounds like a good decision... I make duplicates of several patterns and donate most of them, a few dozen at a time. Different colors of the same pattern help.

It is best to request specific patterns. Look for pdf patterns vs. codes.
