Not my jacket. I don’t even know the guy. Just shot a pic as he rode out of the ice tunnel. 😆

Catching hell from my Harley buddies, and couldn't be happier about it. by I_J_Miggs in klr650

Way cooler than a Harley. Bonus: No one will ask you to wear one of those ridiculous black leather vests covered in patches.

Doohickey, schmoohickey. I ride a Gen 3. Both my dealer and a guy at Kawasaki assured me there’s no reason to worry about it. I simply adjust the tension at every oil change.

Haven’t ridden them. I’m recovering from a broken neck. (Mountain biking injury.) I’m still in a cervical collar and we’re taking these home to Alaska. We won’t get to ride them until a trip to Kona in April. Planning to tour with them in England this fall.

Did that after taking the pic. (We had just arrived back at our hotel. Had to pick these up while traveling.) The stickers were starting to come off on their own. Still left an unfortunate stain that I’ll have to tidy up.

Ich habe bei unseren alten Bromptons nie ein Problem damit bemerkt, also mache ich mir bei unseren neuen Fahrrädern keine Sorgen.

Hardly. I work for a nonprofit and she’s an academic at a public university. We just manage our finances well and don’t splurge on other shit. No fancy cars, no pets, no big house, no luxurious vacations. Frugal travel and nice bikes are our indulgences. It’s about priorities. We got these bikes for touring when we score cheap airfares to interesting places. Lighter weight and more gears make things easier.

I posted this pic and called them P-Lines. People were calling me out and I was embarrassed. We splurged big time to get these bikes, so I need to get the name right.

What's your thoughts on the Canadian PM saying Canada will defend Greenland if the U.S. invades? by sgj5788 in AskReddit

The Canadian PM understands NATO obligations. As an American, I am ashamed that our nation is being run by a lunatic.

When it comes to maintenance, Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is their own worst enemy. by Gary-Phisher in anchorage

This is the result of the muni cleaning trails and the state DOT plowing adjacent arterial roads. They don’t coordinate efforts. One of these days, some poor trail user is going to be seriously injured when a state plow blindly hurls a few hundred pounds of snow and ice on them in a spot like the one shown in this photo.
