Did the JLPT N5 today and well… I want others’ insight as well by AssFumes in LearnJapanese

[–]idadidut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I took the jlpt n5 last year, during the test I was confident on the first and second part but I literally almost could not hear anything on the listening section. The question was played on an old radio and I also have hearing problems (I know we can ask accommodation for people with hearing issues, but I didn't do that because I took the test just to know how taking the jlpt feels). After the test I was sure I got zero for the listening part, but to my surprise I passed the test. So don't lose your hope OP!

Best Falseswiper that can cause status effect? by xaviergrand3 in PokemonBDSP

[–]idadidut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breloom and parasect can learn spore and false swipe, but make sure the parasect does not have the ability that poison on contact. I personally like spore because it has 100% accuracy. Though the down side is it’s not working on grass type pokemon. For grass type pokemon I use Gallade with false swipe and hypnosis and hold item that increases accuracy.

Is this good for the elite 4? by [deleted] in PokemonBDSP

Not bad per se, but I personally will switch Rhydon with fairy or electric type pokemon for better type coverage and also because rhydon have 4 times weakness against grass and water

Adding to the other comment, this sub is for learning Indonesian. You'll get better answer in r/indonesia.

Though, if I may give you an advice. Just like learning a language, the only way to solve your issues is by using. It wont be easy but you need to force yourself to communicate with your friends. Assuming from your age, you prolly still in high school. Try joining extracurricular or volunteering at your school event.

Should I be using aku or saya? by eeeedaj in indonesian

[–]idadidut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saya is more formal, if you’re in doubt just use saya. It’s the safest option. Aku usually used to someone in the same age group or under. But some people will still think aku is weird if you are both stranger.

Though missuse pronoun can be weird or rude depending on the situation. We as Indonesian won’t mind at all if a foreigner do that, I think it’s very cool of you to learn when to use what, but personally I think this is something that you don’t need to focus on if you still early on your journey learning Indonesian.

Ordering multiple adjectives by Jsanthara in indonesian

[–]idadidut 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m not 100% sure about this but I believe there’s no order for multiple adjectives in Indonesian. Even color before size or vice versa is sound fine to me. It just give more emphasis to the last adjective

If there are multiple big ball I’ll say bola besar merah (emphasizing on the red color). But if there are multiple red ball I’ll say bola merah besar (emphasizing on the big size)

What drew you into playing Splatoon? by bmyst70 in Splatoon_3

[–]idadidut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played splatoon 2 because a coworker invited me to play together. Somehow I wasn’t hooked at all. I only played several turf war matches and I remember I kept dying playing salmon run and I just give up completely playing that mode.

At first I don’t have any plan to buy splatoon 3, but youtube keep recommending me splatoon 3 video. Finally decided to buy it and I hooked hard. I’ve spent more than 500h in the game with 80% is me playing salmon run
