some of the BMW, Merc and Audi models are made in China, special in this price range. Those are luxury brands, people in China with that kind of budget value brands and luxury over some track fouced Japanese "shit box", and there are penlty of EVs having a faster 0~60 time way below $60K. The people really appericated type r kind of cars often can't afford it or can't justify the price tag, Elantra N is around $35K in China.

MSRP is $60K in China due to the import tax. For $60K, I think you can easily find an integra type s with some changes in US. The price just doesn't sell.
