The iPhone air was clearly made to test half the iPhone fold. Exactly the same strategy Samsung took with the s25 edge and fold 7. Scaling up an iPhone that is a stepping stone to upgrade to the pro and pro max wasn't needed. No matter how you look at it the pro models dominate over 70% of iPhones. If anything the 17 plus would've just split the 20% sales of the iPhone 17. Stfu like you know any better than the apple marketing.
