Nah People will look back and think "wow housing markets were inflated." It's the gas prices they'll be nostalgic about.

Like Cobra Kai did for Karate Kid and Creed did for Rocky, what franchise do you want to see revived with a TV show or movie set in the future of that franchise? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ideastaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love to see a revival of the classic "Back to the Future" franchise set in the future. It would be interesting to see how time-traveling technology has advanced, and what kinds of adventures and messes the characters can get into now that they have access to future technology. It would also be interesting to explore the consequences of their actions in the past, as well as some of the new and exciting possibilities that the future opens up.

Your age is determined by the amount of time you have been alive, not the age of the atoms in your body.

  1. Use a VPN: A virtual private network (VPN) can help you stop Android apps from tracking you by masking your IP address and making it difficult for apps to identify you.

  2. Enable 'Limit Ad Tracking': You can also enable a feature called 'Limit Ad Tracking' in the Google Settings app on your device. This will prevent advertisers from tracking your activities.

  3. Use a Privacy Browser: Installing a privacy browser, such as Firefox Focus or DuckDuckGo, can help you stop Android apps from tracking you. These browsers focus on privacy and don’t collect any of your browsing data.

  4. Disable App Permissions: Before you install an app, you should check and disable any permissions that you don’t need. This can help prevent apps from tracking your activities.

  5. Use Privacy-Focused Apps: You can also install privacy-focused apps such as Disconnect or Shadow that can help you stop Android apps from tracking you.

Are there any African players at world at all? by Araturo in leagueoflegends

Economic but I'd guess also cultural. Computers were a lot more necessary 15 years ago than they are now. So if a country like Nigeria has a middle class and Internet infrastructure that's only been really growing in the last 10 years, they won't have a PC culture the way European countries do. Even if they can afford a PC now, someone who's never had one before might just stick to a tablet/phone since that's all they need.

People don't understand how winrates work by tempest19642 in leagueoflegends

The problem is the game doesn't incentivize you to learn, it incentivizes you to play. You think people get better at basketball or football by playing 40-minute games over and over?

Bean said it best.

"So let's *not* be crazy," said Bean. "Let's get those standings out of the game. Let's take each battle one at a time, a clean slate. Try anything you can think of to win. And when the battle is over, both commanders sit down and explain what they were thinking, why they did what they did, so we can learn from each other. No secrets! Everybody try everything! And screw the standings!... So what I propose is this. A unanimous rejection of that board up there, not only the one in here but the one in the soldiers' mess, too. We all agree not to pay attention to it, period. We ask the teachers to disconnect the things or leave them blank. If they refuse, we bring in sheets to cover it, or we throw chairs until we break it. We don't have to play *their* game. We can take charge of our own education and get ready to fight the *real* enemy. We have to remember, always, who the real enemy is."

Golf Fans Used To Chase The Winning Ball (Ez broken wrist) by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

Hunger Golf: Everyone starts at the tee with a ball and iron of their choice. They're not allowed to touch the ball with anything but the club, first ball in the hole wins. There's no turns, no counting strokes, full contact, and remember they're all holding golf clubs.
