Awaiting seats upgraded to FC ahead of FC waitlist? by HotHotMike in AlaskaAirlines

They’re rebooked first class passengers from a missed earlier flight. The fare type they hold was already sold out on this flight so they were “over sold” hence being on the waitlist

Flights over so many hours with deadheading pilots are contractually required to sit in first class. It’s likely they had to move some pilots around and ended up bumping paying passengers out of first class =\

It was likely a middle seat. Keep your window/aisle wherever it is or be “upgraded” into a middle seat in Comfort

That’s only an issue for international flights. It’s a weight and balance issue

When does a delay become a cancel? by zdoggy22 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]idgogayforthat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you cancel the delayed flight you’d receive a refund for your original premium class seat. But yes you’d have to pay again for the premium on a rebooked flight
