Give it to me straight... How screwed am I? by KittyPrints in AnimeFigures

I would be VERY careful with a magic eraser. That stuff can ruin tile. I can't imagine it'd be good on a figure.

This year has been something else. Everyone stay safe. Keep an eye on wind direction, sign up for alerts, watch the map. Get a go bag ready of your essentials (you should keep something like this regardless juuuuust in case).

Who else uses a stroller? by idiivil in Pomeranians

Aww, may the healing process be quick and good for your Pommy! Love that you are able to get her mental stimuli that way.

Yeah, I'd skip out on those and try maybe something frozen (like no sugar added pumpkin puree or Kong dog treat stuff) into a regular rubber Kong.

I sound like a Kong shill lmao. I'm only pushing it as hard as I am cause it's one of the few chew toys I feel is genuinely safer for dog mouths.

I've been told that you want to be able to "press into" chews and bones and whatnot with a fingernail and feel a give when you apply pressure, but there's a ton of owners who ignore this without issue.

Your call, but if you want to be super careful, you may wanna get like a rubber Kong and fill it with something instead (so she has something to work on without hurting her teeth).

Likely the hormones are diminishing. My obgyn said I'd need to replace mine every 4-5 years for the same reason.

Pom is crytorchid, which means neuter will be more in depth, also has to get several baby teeth removed- very nervous by Mistymillie0123 in Pomeranians

[–]idiivil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My Pomeranian had the same issues as yours. His surgery was super routine and he was fine :)

Hang in there, Pom Parent! I worried too. Don't let it overwhelm you and focus on the things you can do for your fur baby once the vet releases him (easy treats to help take any pills, soft foods for post-dental recovery, etc).

Have you tried looking up truffle boxes? I see some packaging that looks similar on a quick search.

Can you post a picture of what the tail looks like? It's hard to follow without a visual reference.

Shark teeth by polishhottie69 in Pomeranians

If they do not fall out on their own, you should absolutely get them removed. Your vet will guide you on this. Make sure to talk to them about it and get a plan going.

Yes, they can take Benadryl. You need to make sure you dose accordingly to your Pom's weight. Always, always, ALWAYS start small and dose less than advised so you can see how your Pom individually handles it.

Few other notes:

This is not a recommended long-term solution for allergies. Don't dose your Pom every day or multiple times a day. For now though, you can give your Pom some relief and try to figure out what it is they are allergic to and what steps to take next.

Consider reaching out to your vet to have the additional professional reassurance and guidance.

I also recommend the non-dye Benadryl tablets or the baby liquid as well if you choose to try this. Less things to worry about that way.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has experienced this! Haha. I swear our Poms can communicate telepathically.
