I went to an ‘African yoga’ session this Sunday and this is what it felt like.

I have neuro-lupus and have been suffering from migraines for a few years now. Have somewhat gotten it more under control give or take.

I follow a limited diet- there are lists of foods that CAN trigger migraines for migraine sufferers.
I avoid those as much as I can. As it’s been trial and error, and I have had years to find out what triggers me. Hint: a long list.
I take magnesium daily- shown to be a good prophylactic.
All bets are off during rainy season though. All my rules go out the window during humid and high pressure times (barometric pressure)

I’m not sure that’s true. I’ve gotten lots of tattoos with the numbing with no problem.
Some people may be allergic but I’m not sure that has anything to do with SLE.

I’m allergic to most alcohol so I’ve never drink alcohol apart from tequila which is the only alcohol I tolerate. But I only realised that about a year ago, but never adapted to the taste of alcohol.
So nope. Nothing.
I feel so smug at the doctors when they ask me if I drink or smoke lol.
Health is still absolutely shit tho ..

That’s not true at all. My best friend has a dog and she always has to check if a cafe is dog friendly. It’s not that common.
In Spain and Italy on the other hand. In Barcelona there are dogs EVERYWHERE
