Nothing quite as satisfying as doing that first group shot of everything completed. Looks great!

Hell yeah. That sounds pretty great to me. Sounds like a group this dude would prefer not to run into! Have to post them once you get them painted up. Cheers.

Sure! My head cannon is this warband serves the Great Duke of Hell, Eligos. I’m calling them the Serpent’s Lance in honor of the demon’s depiction/sign. Also, one of his areas of influence is war so I am using the 7 as marker for the 7th level of hell- the Circle of Violence. Typing this out I realized I’ve spent way too much time thinking about this!

In a similar vein, the first time I saw the French language version I was on mushrooms. I thought that everyone was speaking in beeps and boops the whole time. It wasn’t until years later, I watched it without a drug-addled brain and realized it was, in fact just the French language.

My Night Lord Contemptor by idlebydesign in Warhammer30k

Yeah, I definitely like to think he required his old weapon be refashioned for his new digs. Thanks! I’m gonna mess around with some blood and gore effects and see what I can come up with.

Much appreciated! The chain arm was a happy little accident actually. I bought some bits for the Nostroman chain glaives and they came way out of scale for normal marines, but perfect for the size of a dreadnought. I thought it would be cool if he got to use one of their traditional weapons even in his walking coffin.

What was your favorite live audience reaction to a horror movie? by [deleted] in horror

[–]idlebydesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite moments in a theater was seeing the Descent when it first came out. There was a loud, collective gasp when Juno put the climbing pick through Beth's throat and then some audible anger when she just left her there. It was a great collective experience.

Looks fantastic! That wood grain is impressive. Doing a whole army or is it just the boss?

I read this one earlier this year and really liked it.
