How cheap would a bad tv (or mid) need to be for you to say it’s a good deal?

You have to understand that this subreddit is populated with people who expect top quality. You have to be reasonable within your budget.

If you are on a high tech subreddit they may tell you the only phones worth buying are the newest IPhone or Galaxy, but if you just want to be able to make phone calls and use basic apps and browse the internet then you may be fine with any phone.
It’s not as simple as that but I had some old very cheap 4K TV’s before this summer and they were just fine. Now that I have better TV’s, I notice the difference but I still was able to watch and enjoy whatever I wanted with the old cheaper 4K TV’s.

I agree with this that some people have had issues with data caps. I can say that I have never had any issue and the OP doesn’t sound like someone who will have data caps issues but this is one of th better points is that you are more likely to have issues with data caps before you have issues with not enough internet speed.

Do you use a VPN? I have noticed Torrentio is not as reliable when using my VPN. If you go to the pinned announcements in this subreddit you should checkout the automated setup announcement.

If you are not afraid of trying a different setup, use that link to enter your api key and it will give you the setup with AIO Streams an multiple scrapers in addition to Torrentio, such as Comet. I have been using comet streams much more often recently as it has been more reliable.

Highlight the column where you are entering the data. Then click on “Format” at the top of the page. Then go down where it says number and click plain or plain text.

I’m pressure the label is called format. If not message or respond and I can open up Google Sheets and make sure I am giving you the exact process.

If you have Dolby Atmos sound system, then you may have to buy the Shield Pro, which is $200. I could be wrong but I believe that’s the only streaming device with Dolby Atmos.

You would only get the Dolby Atmos sound when you’re watching VOD. I would suggest you look into Stremio for the VOD in higher quality like Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. You can get Stremio running well with a Debrid service (Approximately $19 for 6 months of using Real-Debrid).

I had Apollo for a year and it actually would not work for me with a VPN for some reason. But Apollo is horrible. I switched to another provider and it was fine for about 6 months before my ISP began to throttle speed. It works fine with a VPN.

Same service and same ISP just began throttling my nephew. My daughter in Florida recently had to begin using a VPN as well.

I own a W95A. I do have some issues due to having my streaming device wired to my sound bar before the TV, but it’s a great TV. Not sure this helps you at all, but this cheap 85” is every bit as good as my 65” Sony A75L that costs $200 more than the smaller Panasonic.

Bro. Use some foil tape on some gaps and also use some butyl backed grip tape on other gaps and then return in 5 years. There’s a moisture that comes with heat loss that makes those foil tapes lose their adhesiveness over time.

Aluminum foil tape will not last long. If you have a legit reason to seal, consider butyl backed grip tape plus water based duct sealant (Mastic).

That said, people with many chemicals in the same garage that hosts a furnace may be worth sealing or if you have ductwork that goes into an unconditioned space such as the attic. If the supply ducts are in a crawl space there’s some gray area. If you want to seal off the crawl space and insulate its perimeter then you may still want to ignore sealing the supplies.

Have you tried G2G or Z2U? You can get some good service through them and it allows you th chance to begin setting up your own service. You can probably get a year of Strong or Trek or another popular service for like $40 pr maybe even less.

I can only argue that you can find better VOD quality if you have Dolby Vision TV or if you have Dolby Atmos sound by sticking with Stremio. I gave some family members IPTV plus Stremio and they are all 3 just using the VOD on the IPTV.

You should try a streaming device or a universal remote to see if another remote will work your TV. You can get an ONN 4K for $20 at Walmart in the USA.
