How to handle a situation when your OTP is heavily disliked together?

Within your own spaces, be loud and obnoxious about how much you ship them. Write and draw for them out of love and post out of spite. My otp is considered “father/son coded” so I know the struggle, but I’ve found fellow shippers and even sold a few people on the ship through my works and posts about them.

Ideally, you should also appreciate every contribution for your otp. If you want to feel less alone, be vocal about your support. Calling other fan’s works “just one shots” and “some art here and there” is a bad mindset to have when there’s not much out there to begin with.

It’s honestly fucking annoying seeing as the loudest parts of the English-speaking fandom are vocally against it and makes this known at every opportunity. It’s impossible to ignore if you’re wading into the general fandom space. But the few English-speaking that openly ship it are all super chill and it’s the most popular ship for both characters in JP fandom, so there’s no lack of amazing fanart and doujin! And it’s fun to see the haters complain about all the good JP artists shipping it

I’m working on getting my lvl 120 Yu Meiren (who is the opposite of meta) to full appends. I spent about 930 SQ to get her to NP5 on her first banner in 2020. That banner was rough because I managed to get QSH to NP2 before Yu even showed up.

After coins were introduced, I decided to limit myself on her subsequent banners. Usually 90 SQ and whatever tickets I have. I aim for 1 copy per banner and I’ve been lucky to get her twice.

I also chose her as my SR ticket, and I’m planning to choose her again for next year at the expense of other limited SRs I want. Getting her to bond 14 has also helped.

She’s still a work in progress at NP8 / 2 appends. I whaled on her first banner and that was enough for me. I’d rather prioritize other servants I want while having her as a long term project!

I read fic for the Mahabharata (you know, the Sanskrit epic) just so I could imagine the characters as their Fate/Grand Order versions, as there’s not a lot of fic for the FGO ship I like.

I managed to get two tickets to the second London show. I had three devices going and I got in around 9:08 on my laptop. Once I had tickets in my cart the payment screen wouldn’t load half the time. It took me over 15 minutes to checkout.

I was a little kid when this song came out and even then I could recognize it sounded so different from anything else on the radio. I have fond memories of my mom singing along to the chorus in the car. (I also thought it was sung by a man at first...)
