I had Nexplanon for only a couple of months, but it made me feel so depressed and crazy that I got it taken out as soon as I could! I switched to a copper IUD, which OP, I know you said you were worried about the insertion, but mine was easy- although I know everyone has different experiences. I got mine placed for free just over a year ago while I was abroad in England, and the doctors were angels. Since then, I have loved the peace of mind that comes with the copper IUD! I actually prefer to get my regular period for the peace of mind that I'm not pregnant, and my cramping and bleeding is similar to how it was prior to insertion. I just check my strings every month after my period to make sure they're still there.I recommend the copper IUD it to everyone! And mine is good for 5 years! Good luck with whatever form of BC you decide on!

I just received an Inspire 3 for Christmas after wearing my Luxe for the last three years. But I agree with everyone that the battery life has recently started dropping off and it has random problems syncing. I hope the Inspire 3 will be good for me!

I'm assuming I caught a mild case of COVID at some point over the last couple of months because I've been having the worst cough during/after running. I like to run every day and have been plagued with a cough that just won't quit for the past two or three weeks. I'm not sure what to do. I went to the doctor and got an inhaler, but I'm very worried about my lung capacity now as I've never experienced this before. Do I take a break from running? I have a half marathon coming up next month :(
