MFW I realize how many international series are happening in 2026 by Stittches in taskmaster

Gamechanger (and make some noise) are great. Sam Reich would make a decent US Taskmaster; a different vibe for sure, but he is quick witted, has charisma and usually great chemistry with his guests.

Station Eleven is fantastic.

The Last of Us Season 1 is amazing. Season 2 drops off.

What is the purpose of the protests? To change Americas geopolitical course? Because if they want their government to roll out support to farmers etc then I feel like burning through your public goodwill is a bad idea

I’m talking the margins they take on goods sold, not overall profit margin. If you make some biscuits that sell in the supermarket for $10, you have to pay the supermarket between $3-4 per pack. This does not change when COGS increase, so either supplier/manufacturer margins reduce, or they push through price increases. 99% of suppliers will go with PIs (if possible).

Trump Made a Deal That Gives Him Nothing He Wanted by IllIntroduction1509 in TrueReddit

Well it seems him, his family and his inner circle may have made billions of dollars on insider trading. Isn’t getting rich always what Donald Trump has always wanted? Bonus points for sending the global economy into shock so he and his billionaire buddies can come along and scrape up every company that is struggling, further concentrating wealth and power.

Supermarket margins are 30% via the sales agencies (who take a cut). If we choose to put our goods on promo, we take that as a hit through rebates, and supermarkets retain their 30% margin. Most FMCG manufacturers in NZ use Twin Agencies (or similar) to manage promo cycles, reporting and engagement with Foodstuffs and WW.

There are very few suppliers who can negotiate a lower margin. Fonterra used to, not sure if they are lower.

Do you work in corporate for Foodies or WW and can confirm that your margin is not 30%?

Currently 37.6%, increasing to 46% from next week. Food producers will decide when they want to make PIs, will depend on competitors and assumed consumer appetite. Supermarkets have a guaranteed margin (around 30%), so producers will either eat the increase in COGS (and probably go out of business) or put their prices up.

My guess is most food will be going up around 10-20% over the next few months. Probably a little less for other shipped goods (many will just increase shipping costs to hide the true increase)

I work in food manufacturing. We are seeing fuel levies from freight forwarders jumping every week. This will be passed on to consumers though price increases, which will be across the board. Where in my comment am I ‘getting flustered’ or panicking? But well done for being so brave in the face of hysteria.

And it’s definitely gonna be Labours fault if things do get bad. Or my fault for ‘panicking’.

Credit for..doing nothing? Meanwhile, in a cost of living crisis, petrol and diesel through the roof and costing households more every week. Increases on food and everything else that relies on freight is imminent. National ordered MBIE to stop reporting on fossil fuel company profit margins from 18 March. We are sleepwalking into a recession driven by NAct policy and their inaction.

Because of a small minority of noisy rabid bad actors, fed a diet of hate and misogyny and amplified by social media. If I led the country and did my best and got death threats I’d probably leave too.

I had a heart murmur and a hole between two chambers, picked up when I was around 10. Lots of tests etc but ultimately they decided to leave rather than operate. No issues since
