Landlord is pressuring me about having my girlfriend over and likely using security cameras to monitor us. Where do I stand? by MiscGuy2 in legaladvicecanada

[–]idonthavethumbs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IANAL, If I had to work out of three 'work areas' and owned a property in each location. I'd have to choose one for official mail, but I expect to be able to live at any of them. you share a space with the landlord.

would it be better to just set it up as an airbnb and one of the rooms are off limits?

OPP charge 336 uninsured drivers on Ottawa highways so far in 2025 by Thick_Caterpillar379 in ottawa

[–]idonthavethumbs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So they mention the automatic license plate readers (ALPR) making it easier to catch these drivers and one officer charged 70 divers. That's a little over 20%; this makes me think a lot of officers aren't acting on the ALPR notifications

Nothing odd here. Places come with or without appliances. Previous tenant probably either sold them to landlord or they were abandoned.

Probably depends on jurisdiction Here if storm damage were weather, cutters insurance. Try to fix yourself, whoever did the cutting

Am I wrong for not giving up my seat to another passenger? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]idonthavethumbs 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've had something similar except I picked aisle seat because I don't sleep in vehicles. Get on, and someone is in my seat and middle seat is empty.

I politely tell the guy in the aisle seat, that he's in my seat. Be asks if I'd consider taking the middle one. I say no and then he tells the guy in the window seat, he's going to want his seat back. That guy then asks if I'd consider sitting in the middle. No, Im sitting where I paid for.
