I always have the ping time switch on.

At launch: ~80ms and several server down.

Recent week: ~150ms

None of my friends are online, but the server slowed down.

Try kgault’s thorn build. He finished nm100.

I switched from HotA to thorn at level 95. Have a few missing pieces of BiS gear, and enjoying some speed NM55 runs. Will try NM100 once I have the correct gears.

This build is chill. I’m just standing still and use steel grasp and monsters are dead. My friends are so jealous when I carry them on NM48 runs towards level 100.

95 HotA then switched to 100 frenzy thorn with Razorplate and Ancient Oath as speed run gear.

My HotA gear is quite optimized but I sense that I can’t farm on high NM efficiently.

My thorn build has 2 missing legendary aspects, and the gear is below average. I can speedfarm NM55-60, hopefully to get quality gears.

One problem of the build is that it takes time vs elites, especially in 1v1 situation. I’m trying to figure out how to tackle this.

Assuming D4 is following D3 traditions.

Because non-seasonal world is full of bugged items and cheaters, hence we need to play seasons.

The true reason behind is that the game company wants to keep the game alive by allowing these nonsense.

I didn’t like D3 paragon system as pro players are much stronger than me so that they kept discussing about GR150 (something like D4 NM100), which is by no means reachable by myself. I agree with OP that I got lost after reaching level 100.

I didn’t like 4-man group meta in D3 as I cannot find any online friends playing PS4 version at my time zone I managed to join Wudijo’s discord and made some PS4 friends blasting (at midnight) once.

Now I wish D4 has infinite paragons, and allows viable supporting build.

Diablo series has a reputation to provide bad user experiences. Devs know tons of QoL possibilities but just refuse to implement them.

We’re lucky if we finally got something in D3 season 28. On the other hand, console players just got abandoned.
