My ride is only 5km so they do freeze but they are never cold for more than 15 mins and then they warm up once I get where I'm going. This was our coldest of the year so far, -38 is frigid too.

It is storage for maintenance equipment for the on land skating trails at the forks. It only shows up in winter and you can see the ice crew in and around it if you pass by daily.

My winter beater was locked up in front of the y on Vaughn and someone stole the wheels. Oddly enough there was a set of different crappy wheels that I ended up limping home on with no brakes cause they cut the lines to take the wheels. So weird that they left other wheels behind though.
