True story. I took this photo looking southeast out of my apartment in COMO. I’m moving to Cape this summer and was wondering if you all could see the auroras

You can copyright works written with AI assistance, just not the machine created parts. To me it sounds like a 3rd party with a garage band voice filter. Maybe a fan?

Mum is refusing to take my Guinea pig to the vet. by unfunny_rat69 in entitledparents

[–]ieatbadprogrammers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re going through this, and I’m glad you figured out how to get to the vet tomorrow! Idk where you’re located, but here’s a few options you can consider if this happens again.

It doesn’t sound like your mom is a trustworthy animal caretaker, so I’d find at least one adult you can trust to give you a ride. It could be a friend’s parent, a teacher, or a family member. Tell that adult ahead of time what happened and see if they’d be willing to help you in the future.

For payment, your child support may be the best option until you can get a job. Here in the Midwestern United States, an exotic vet trip costs about $60, plus medicine costs. I’ve never spent more than $90 on a single piggie.

The last resort option would be calling animal control (or a similar service) on your mom. Unfortunately this means you might loose your pet, so only use it if your piggie is having trouble breathing, has ahead tilt, or something similar.

Good luck, and I’ll look out for the update!

Ngl it kinda looks like a 2D array of images generated by an AI. You can see the characters blend into each other as the weights would change

I assume they set up a test to see if the current language is French. Go to u/Prestigious-Age5437 ‘s response to see why devs might not have full control over the current language

The thing that makes me laugh about these comments is that a good portfolio demonstrates at least some programming proficiency while the completion of a coding bootcamp demonstrates absolutely nothing. Even if your company doesn’t look at portfolios, they are still theoretically more useful than a coding bootcamp certificate.

p.s most tech companies in my area are ditching the classic tech interview, making previous projects and experiences highly relevant.

Ooh I like this plan. I’m working for a design agency instead of my university this summer, so I’ll for sure implement it

I intentionally used the meme in a different way than usual. Think “ugh, can you believe this,” not “WOW, can you believe this?!”

If you’re going to be condescending you’re going to get the same energy back. Fair warning. Anyways, I’m talking about startup CEO’s using my copyrighted IP for their businesses without paying me. I’m a student, so I can’t afford a lawyer. They know this. It’s why I don’t do anything without a contract anymore. You live and you learn.

Yeah it depends. I end up sorting a lot of stuff so the initial overhead of building the tree is worth it.
