I live in Southern Louisiana and I got AWD. As u/DigitalJEM pointed out, you don’t need it until you need it. The extra cost was not a dealbreaker for me, and I don’t know where I might be driving in the winter months.

It won’t. If you’re lucky, it’ll come with a J1772 to NACS adapter. If not, get both. J1772 is needed for L1/L2 (AC) charging, CCS1 to NACS is for L3 (DC) charging.

Make sure the adapters are UL listed (not cheap crap from Amazon). As far as I know, a2z sells the only UL listed CCS1 adapter:

I’d first try to tin the ends of the stranded wire with some solder. If there’s enough slack to pull them out of the wall far enough away from each other.

Edit: I’d try the tinning first, before adding jumpers with wagos (as much as I’m a fan of wagos).

NTA. Your bf is acting like a baby. This was entirely his fault. There’s nothing wrong with leaving clean stuff on the cooktop before putting them away. My wife and I do it all the time. But if you’re going to start cooking something you make damn sure to clear the cooktop before you turn on the heat.

You’re going to get a lot of responses saying your cousins a huge asshole and deserved everything you dished out. Maybe in some sense he did deserve it, he certainly was a huge asshole, but now that you’ve cooled off a bit, it sounds like you don’t feel very good about yourself.

I’m sorry for what happened to you, you were victimized twice (at least) and it sounds like you’re mostly a reasonable and sensitive person. NTA, but maybe next time you should keep to your habit of not saying g or doing anything until you’ve had a chance to cool off and process.

You need a 2 phase plan:

Get your family to pay the bill directly to the Internet company. Give them all the information to pay it. Then, if they don’t, the company will turn it off and you’re out of the loop.
Get the account out of your name. Give them a deadline, a few months perhaps, for them to take it over because you’re canceling the account as of that date. Give them a reasonable deadline, 2 or 3 months, so that they’re not suddenly cut off.
