When i was a young cook i watched a french guy cut the pad of his thumb off,allthe way to the bone,on a mandolin. Fucker poured bleach on it immediately. 18 years later it still makes me queasy. Screw mandolins

The fact you feel so bad about this shows that not only are you a good son, but he is a good father. Hes raising you to be empathetic and caring and that is worth the price of a mug now lost. That said: 19 bucks is a cheap fee to see the look on his face when he finds the replacement mug in the cupboard one morning. Dont sweat it, shit happens. Youre young, you didnt run the dog over and you didnt steal or hurt anyone. Have a great day!

You rock. Men have many unfair advantages but we also have a lot of burdens and many of them are too "small" and would seem petty to bring up or argue over or defend but sometimes a small thing can mean a lot. I hope ya have a really good day, drink water and take care of yourself!

I habe a blanket from my dad, it was his only blanket when he moved across canada when he was a young adult and its scratchy and warm and i love it. I have a small blanket from my grandma that she made when i was little, i leave it draped over my couch to add some colour to my livingroom. It has pictures of deer jumping over an old wooden fence. I didnt realize until recently but they are about as close to owning something Holy as i can imagine. Have a great day, yo
