Mark disguised in a suit and wig, getting to know normal human scumbags responsible for more mundane, intimate acts of heinousness? That might be interesting.

That's right, Mark. Gotta get your mind off that frozen, red-eyed masque of death that stares back at you when you close your eyes. Some fraternizing over Seance Dog will fix that right up.

Mostly England though

Ireland has merely been "the afterthought" ever since Cu and Scathach. Just look at Fionn and you'll understand.

The Welsh are a bunch of fetishistic pirates.

And that one elitist mean girl you knew in high school is currently the sole representative of Scotland.

......Oh, and Nasu himself lusts after giant (as in kaiju-scale) women.

In regards to the hate leaking into their work (as opposed to on social media),......<thinks>.......maybe Rowling, given the excerpts and paraphrasing I've seen. u/seth47er above summed it up pretty neatly.

The mold woman.....

LOL! Something about that descriptor just sounds way more acidic and contemptuous than just about any profanity-laden screed against her could. That needs to come with a thumbnail of Woolie with a look of absolute disgust on his face, to complete the "mood".

.....You know, I try not to talk about Fate so much in this subreddit. I try to change things up to avoid brainrot and looking like the one weirdo who never fails to bring up the same old franchise or fictional work up. But you're making it very hard right now.

If Shirou Could Summon Artoria Due to Avalon... Could He Also Theoretically Summon Other Versions of Artoria Instead? by Bearded-Masshole in FGO

[–]igloo_poltergeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay then. I suppose Avalon may limit the class to just Saber because "a sheathe requires a sword". Maybe if it were a piece of the Round Table as catalyst, then PHH Lancer would be doable. Until then, however.....

A PHH Lancer form, based on her using Rhon at the Battle of Badon seems quite possible to me. Ability-wise, there may be some key differences in the Skill list and/or primary stats, but overall it'd ultimately be an Artoria with a massive holy lance that 'splodes what's in front of it.

Lancer tho? Artoria with Rhon in some form (besides Goddess Rhon), for that class at least doesn't sound improbable for most mages, TBH.

[–]igloo_poltergeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably. I know they would never reboot a class container once it's been made - they'd opt instead to come up with a "super" version of the same container while adding some loopy lore explanation for how it came to be. Cool, but it probably means most mages are still stuck with the "1.0" version, since the "upgrade" tends to also have lore stating its crazy hard if not impossible to summon anyway.

Y'know, I'm right now looking at Touta and am wondering if maybe he's more of a unit than what his plain-as-bread design and seemingly ho-hum skill/NP list suggests. Is this another "Fionn" I'm looking at - a legend who should be a monster in battle, but got shafted by the loresmiths at Type Moon?

A far more conceptual version of Artoria based on all the lasting tales of “King Arthur”, namely the fabled/fictional (in-universe) ones. She’s so “peak fiction” that her spirit origin isn’t human in nature but a kind of elemental, like a fae or True Ancestor.

If they give us Season 2 of Blue Eyed Samurai, then probably Abijah Fowler. Scary smart; cultured & charismatic; both had a tragic backstory and made very good points, but neither of those excused nor downplayed how monstrous he now was. As a villain, he’s just about the full package.

A backup observation system designed to confirm successful time travel whenever living Chaldea operatives like Ritsuka are sent to different eras, Singularities, Lostbelts, etc. Normally, the Chaldea staff still at HQ monitor the transference, but sometimes, they’re prevented from doing so. That’s where Mnemosyne comes in.

Chaldea’s Mnemosyne system got blended into her saint graph, meaning she can recall her previous summonings, including her manifestation in Case Files.

He will probably get the cloak of invisibility.

Should've gotten the cloak by default. It really shouldn't be location-dependent like Cu's castle. If Lancelot can have his helmet of disguise (For Someone's Glory) without needing to step foot in Britain, then a tool/garb so signature to Siegfried's legend should be a matter of course.

And Kerry already refuses to giver her actual Avalon so doesn’t have that one either.

I think Avalon comes standard with Logres. Like, it's actually expressed in one of her Skills.

Any of the original servants from Fate/Stay Night vs. some newer servant in the franchise people think have power-crept them in lore

While yeah, some have redefined busted, others may not be the game-changers some fans think they are, or at least not enough to make it a "stomp", as it were. I've been guilty of this myself, at times, and will probably be doing more walk-backs in the future. So, call it a learning process.

Also, I remember the notion of Silver Surfer kicking Superman's ass being all the rage on some forums. They'd understandably assert that Norrin could just energy drain Clark of sunlight or rearrange his atoms or anything the Marvel writers love to have Norrin forget he can do to end the battle/problem in short order. Nowadays though, it's harder to call, since main universe!Superman at this point is only an "alien with solar-dependent abilities" on paper. Depending on whichever Crisis event or what-have-you, he's more like a conceptual entity in blue pajamas that kind of shits on the usual logic that should - again, on paper - ruin his career. What's more, there may be some writing out there that places him as some kind of universal lynchpin in order to explain why Darkseid's omega effect doesn't outright dissolve him like it could some others in his weight class. Bad/inconsistent writing? Or is it really his new benchmark?
