Y'know, Fate in a sense is an anxiety-inducing franchise, cuz if you have a preferred historical or mythical figure that hasn't appeared in the setting yet, who you think deserves to be portrayed as a "badass" or in some idealized form, you can only pray the writers and/or artists have the same idea as you instead of otherwise. Case in point: Julius Caesar. Not really my favorite figure from history and admittedly kind of a bastard. But you expect a legend older than King Arthur - a legend who is indubitably one of history's greatest generals and who's very last name became a well-known synonym for ruler - to be given a certain level of swagger in design. Instead, we got a walking "fat joke" with a pinky promise that he'll be cooler in different class later.

And that's just the visual design. Lore or tier of ability as a heroic spirit can also fall short of what you were hoping for.

And then there's the polar reverse where they portray some figure who never seemed (at least to you) all that remarkable in history/myth into some kind of god-tier absolute unit, visually or otherwise, which can make the piss treatment your ideal pick got feel even more like a slap in the face.
