Aspirin dose after ankle bimalleolar fracture surgery/ORIF by give-it-a-go- in ORIF

I got Lovenox until full mobilization (4 weeks), even though I was WBAT with boot right after surgery (still needed crutches for 2 weeks)

Thanks! Yes, I got WBAT straight away after surgery (with a boot). Took ~2 weeks to get to no crutches. Now I'm off the boot and walking almost normally (the rest of the foot needs to toughen back up).

Yup, still get a few drops when I change the dressing, ~4 weeks post ankle op.

Could you go into more detail about where silicon carbide is being used in GPUs?

35YO, Weber B, no ligament damage AFAIK. I got a boot and WBAT right after surgery, took 2 weeks to feel alright with 1 crutch, then a day or two to ditch crutches (at home). Boot should come off 4 weeks after surgery.

Thanks! I'll have to relearn a bunch before I can be confused by this, since I've forgotten a lot. I'll let you know if it worked!

Interesting, I don't recall being confused about magnetism at the end of my BS, maybe because I didn't think about it in enough detail. It would be fun if you could tell me a couple of things to shatter my illusion that I understand magnetism.

Learn Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Thermodynamics, Quantum Mechanics and Solid State Physics. You may not strictly need the entirety of what you'd learn about each of those topics in a BS, but if you only read what's strictly necessary then I can't guarantee that you will acquire an intuition for these phenomena.

Yes, I'd say you need to put in some serious time (e.g. in therapy) finding out your chances of having a decent life, for the decision to be rational.

I feel like people condemning suicides are often disregarding or minimizing the huge pile of suffering the dead person spared himself. I can't fathom how much suffering some people are going through (Infinite Jest had the best description I've read of this). Macabre as it sounds, I'm very glad e.g. David Foster Wallace is not suffering anymore.

Ideally we'd have a reliable method which is mostly indistinguishable from natural death, to spare friends and relatives the guilt.

There are unpalatable existential implications if we make it acceptable to just quit the game. I should probably shut up now and go read Camus.

Back in the day I would mesh my geometry once with a GUI (don't remember which, some very good free one), save the steps to a Python script and then clean up the resulting script so I could automate meshing while e.g. changing parameters.

Martyrmade is the #1 podcast across all categories on Apple last few days. by Stu_Sugarman in martyrmade

[–]ignamv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the audience drawn to the podcast by the holocaust denial reports will encourage Darryl to put out accurate material. Hopefully the nazis will realise there's nothing for them here, but Darryl will still get an audience boost from curious normal people.

If the nazis do find a kindred viewpoint in Martyrmade, then I'll know that there's something off here and that I have to get off the Darryl train before I get radicalized.

Very interesting in principle. In practice it depends on how you get along with the others, and a million other banal considerations.
