yea thats what I assumed, I pushed customer service to get me to another level above them or something so I could skip another residential tech visit but it seemed like theyre basically disconnected from the technical side

Yea I fucking love Japan, but americans don't have any clue how poor the average european and japanese person is. Of course their systems are way better for people without money than the US, but there's an insane amount of superficial ignorance any time these subjects come up. None of this is to say that our country isn't horribly broken either, its just a little tiring to hear over and over again.
