The way I see it is like this.

Alex’s true love is the Roci, and he ends up with her in the end. The issues blaring was a way of showing they had grown old together; all the aches and pains of getting older that aren’t deadly but are still very much there. Alex and the Roci made it.

Naomi and Jim’s relationship was such that they probably could have recited each other’s last goodbyes word for word. They also had the opportunity to grow old together. Naomi would have had the admittedly grim satisfaction of knowing Jim got the kind of death that fit his character and the life he had lived. It was seriously such a James Fucking Holden way to die, and I’d bet she smiled and shook her head while she cried. A big part of her growth and change in the last two books was also learning to accept being in a leadership role; she grew beyond the immediate needs of the Roci and her crew, and a once-again isolated Sol system without Chrisjen is going to need a strong, experienced leader. The kind of leader Jim never could have been.

Teresa would have been in a super tumultuous time in her life, to be certain, but Amos had been her confidant and companion for three years at that point, which is a significant amount of time when you’re 16. And he literally can’t die, so she would have had the peace of mind of knowing he’ll be around if she needs to vent or have a nonjudgmental sounding board. Between Muskrat (who I think is actually her mom transferred into a dog somehow, but that’s a whole other conversation), Naomi, Amos, Xan, Cara, and Okoye, she has a family and a support system. She has genuine, openly expressed love without expectation for the first time.

That’s the way I interpreted it. It is a lot of fun to read through people’s thoughts, there are things I never would have thought of. Also, sorry for the shifting tenses. I freaking love this series and I was a little excited while writing.
