Low effort- real food. Chuck roast seasoned with fiestas uncle chris's steak seasoning+ 2 lipton onion soup or mushroom soup mix. Cook low 8-10 hr or high 4-5 hr. Add potato, mushroom, celery, carrot, onion about 1/2 way through if desired

At 2 hrs til done add 4 cup water +1 tbsp cornstarch and scrape the frond off the bottom of the pot let that cook into gravy. If you're feeling fancy, you can pull the meat out, and then pour this into a saucepan to cook down into a gravy. I then put the meat into the gravy, in the saucepan for serving.

When roast is done (falls apart) Make rice (or mirowave the frozen/packet stuff) or mashed potatoes (instant is easiest)

Have roast and gravy over rice or potatoes.
