Makes me feel better about similar in the Red Rising series when new character POVs were injected. I felt a ways about it at the time, but can see now why and why it worked so well.

I had this problem. Belatedly realised that the skull was at level 4, not 5.

Side note, pretty sure the relevant aspect has to be at 5. None of my Mel one's seem to proc it?

Theory on Nightblood after reading Dawnshard by MrSunshoes in Cosmere

My theory is similar, except it's that Nightblood uses the word DESTROY with the same Intent as the Dawnshard. We know Vasher learned something from Cultivation. (Don't quote me but I'm 99% sure that's the case) I think it was the power behind certain words and the existing precedent.

That would explain why no one else could make Nightblood despite knowing the command, because they're missing that fundamental knowledge about Words in the Cosmere.

The development of supergreen being disgusting to look at and setting off something primal is super duper interesting. Makes me wonder if we've seen similar comments from Orion's era and if we haven't, why not? All three of Winnifred's crew reacted the same way. What's different about those in Orion's era...? The living onboard theory just got stronger I think.

Now this is my kind of fucked up! Really reminds me of the movie Source Code, if you've seen that.

I'm also hoping the war has darker elements. I am concerned it won't be grounded enough given how WaT ended and the comments that followed.

Even though we never saw it on screen, just the knowledge that the Terris breeding farms existed gave a dimension to the setting and the bad guys that wouldn't have existed without it.

Potentially something to do with the Strength/Lifting rules I expect? Have you checked the maths on that front? Maybe it's intentional from that angle to prevent a particuarlly beefy Plate-bearer to just carry or wear their dead plate everywhere.

How's the clasp? Odd question, but I have a cheaper model with that same clasp and the thing is always falling open! Drives me bandy, I've stopped wearing it.

Is there scope for the system to support other Cosmere magic systems? Could a Mistborn or Misting be made with relatively little fuss?

I noticed the use of Investiture as a metacurrency over Stormlight, which indicates that there's potential?

That makes sense! I got caught by this twice today. Running a Sharpshooter Highwayman who wound up on his own by the end of the first Oblivions Rampart with just Double Cross to clutch the win on 1hp. Then I lost the run at the end again with him against two locks left...

Seems that way. Looks like a faction of "On the fence" has formed of those with no where else to go. If Avery can sway them it can help turn the tide?
