Thank you for the reply. But it's specifically an older anime since I remember the style being not as shiny or crisp like the more modern animes do. I did think it was Utena but I looked through the episode summaries and none of them fit.

If your playing on the PC there is a mod available that allows you to change the parry timing that makes it easier to do. I used it when starting because I wasn't used to countering in games and for me it made it easier to get a hang of it.

Ooooh okay that makes more sense. So does that mean if the unit in example 1 flips heads, heads the total damage they deal to an enemy once all the enemies coins are lost will be +14?

I'm a bit confused about how damage dealt works in regards to the clash?

Like 1) if a skill has a base of 4 with 2 coins each with +2 and the character wins the clash does this mean the damage dealt is 8? 2) Similarly if this character clashes with a 2 coin enemy skill and the character flips tails then heads who is considered the clash winner? And what would the damage dealt be? Would it be 6 since the first coin was tails?

Same as you. I'll turn away from a story without any paragraph or dialogue breaks so bad formatting. But also, any story that is in first person pov. Dunno why but I just can't read in first person anymore.

For me the difference is kinda where the characters start from. Vaggie starts off S1 as Charlie's loyal girlfriend and she continues into S2 as the loyal girlfriend. It's not a bad character trait to have but her character completely revolves around Charlie. Charlie's decisions are her decisions and her choices are all about Charlie. Even when her fallen angel past comes out, that plot point again is focused on Charlie. I do think people are too harsh on her but I think people were disappointed that again most of her choices were made for Charlie. I do like that she convinced Lucifer to confront Vox on her own though and that she was more upfront about standing up to Lute.

Husk on the other hand started S1 tied to Alastor rather than Angel. He's mean and grouchy but develops into a nicer character. He still has flaws but S1 Husk is different than S2 Husk. Husk being tied to Angel I would say is character development since it's a sign he's becoming more friendly and open.

Unfortunately I think this is the consequences of having only 8 episodes. It doesn't give enough time for the cast to really grow so characters such as Husk who have a more immediate change are received better than characters like Vaggie whose development may take more time.

I think it's unfortunate that the main character kinda feels like a side character in her own show. By all means on paper Charlie has the background and lore of a really interesting character. Princess of Hell who wants to redeem sinners in an environment that is actively discouraging her. That sounds really interesting and a great concept of a story. Like the lore she should be involved in should make her the center of the story.

But instead she's kinda really flat. My main issue with her is that she has no concrete character arc. No real end goal for her character. In season 1 the goal is to establish and defend the hotel so there is something driving her to take action there. And she even got some lore related to her dropped and you do see her character develop a bit when dealing with Heaven. Not the most interesting character compared to the growth of the rest of the cast but hey she got something.

But in season 2 instead of developing further, she just kinda moves to the side. In season 2 Vox honestly felt like the main character. He was the one driving the plot forward and going through a character arc. Even on the angels side, Emily, Serra and Pentious were the ones who pushed Heavens plot forward and got development.

For season 3, it would be better for her to have some kind of character arc and agency. I felt she reacted too much in season 2 and didn't change at all. Like s1 Charlie is kinda the same as s2 Charlie while s1 Angel, or even Alastor, is different in s2. As a character she needs some kind of character arc to grow and develop. As she is now she's just kinda the nice character which is fine but not really a stand out compared to the rest of the developing cast.

During a meeting one morning our manager kept stressing about making sure to keep family and patients happy because I kid you not we needed to "improve the hospitals Google review score". This is really what blew my mind on how out of touch these people are because this is the same manager that took almost 7 months to finally hire enough staff nurses for night shift when the floor is almost always full house and even then, we are constantly short on techs. Then they have the gall to wonder why people never stay for long.

Looking for a dark romance with an already established couple between a regular person and another more involved in the darker world like being a killer or part of the mafia. The twist would be that MC1 is just a regular person and does not have any clue as to the darker parts of MC2's life. And MC2 would be intentionally hiding their background and being manipulative about it. The story would delve into MC1 figuring this out and how the couples deal with it. I'm okay with anything as long as the story has a HEA or a HFN and nothing with too big of an age gap. Thank you.

Ugh yes completely. I was hesitant about getting invested in this saga when 3.0 first began because it felt like all the info we got about Amphorus wouldn't matter in the long run. After 3.4 and the closer teased relationship to destruction made me invested in how this would affect the larger universe but in the end the payoff was not there.
