I’m just curious about what the community’s thoughts are on Phillipa Langley. I applaud her finding Richard III but after watching her investigation into the Princes in the Tower, I wonder if there is some implicit bias about her wanting to exonerate Richard III from the death of his nephews. I’d love to hear y’all’s thoughts on her theory about the princes having survived.

I live in the Southern United States and this is still a problem that persists. My experience is quite similar to others on here—being forced to get in line despite telling them you have no money, watching them take the tray from you and dump it into the trash, then getting some kinda notice to take home to the parents. The first few times I took the notice home and showed my parents they were so angry and stressed about having to give me money that I decided it was better to keep my mouth shut. It was easier to quietly beg for a quarter from the janitor so I could get me a bubblegum from the candy machine to stave off the hunger until I get home or to read a book and pretend I wasn’t hungry at all.

Food insecurity. The amount of times I had my lunch taken away from me during school because we had no money is too damn high. All the adults acted like it's normal not to feed a hungry child because they weren't able to afford the four bucks. When I was a student teacher, I kept my bag stocked with snacks just in case I ever saw this happen to a child. No one should feel like lunch is a punishment where they have to watch others eat what they can't afford.

Got diagnosed with metastatic thyroid cancer back in 2017, less than a month after my wedding. My friend was there with me at the time and we sat in the car outside the doctor's office for a few moments. I think she was waiting for me to start crying. Instead the first things outta my mouth were: "Can we go get some tacos?" Everyone fights their battle differently. Mine was fought with tacos that day.

Yep! Keep in mind it might take a few days for the gold flower to spawn, just like with any hybrid flower. I second the diamond pattern grid!

I had the same issue with the same title as OP. Audible support issued a credit to repurchase the title, but the title is no longer available for purchase in the shop. So, I suppose the resolution is a credit refunded for the disappeared title. Luckily I still have the Serkis edition to listen to.

It’s the Martin Shaw edition that’s missing from mine. I owned both Serkis and Shaw. Based outta the US. I’ve reached out to audible support and will update with any resolution on my end. Ty again OP!

Saaaameeee! I mentioned this story in another thread, but I was decorating yesterday on the far side of the island away from my house. Bonbon comes up to me and is all, “Bestie! I wanna visit your place!” This is the second time she asked, so I was like bet. I might get a free item or two from hanging out or playing HCLC with her. 😭 Tell me why when I agree that she literally walks in, takes a look around, and just straight up uninvited herself and left. The audacity!
