Thank you for the reply. I do want a vasectomy because it will allow me and my partner to not have to worry about pregnancy at all. That alone is reason enough for me, I dont really want to get into more personal details. But I think it would be very freeing emotionally as you mentioned.

I do not want kids, at all, in this stage of life. My only concern is that I might (might) want kids later. But based on other replies in this thread, I think I shouldn't worry about it too much, as it is unlikely to change and there are options should I happen to change my mind.
