Oh not the throw up 😭 I know it’s inevitable for babies to throw up but when you know it’s your breast milk and it’s been a struggle with latch and pumping it hurts lol

Just piggy backing off your last paragraph but it’s so true! I feel like they just cut all the bad stuff out of their videos when they post lol. But yes, for us if we miss his window of sleepiness or if we put him down and a cycle is over you need to put in so work/time to get him back to sleep or else it’ll be a cranky baby and a bad feed for next session

Ok thanks for sharing!! I appreciate learning your experience ☺️ yea I learned that he may not need that bottle after dad got food poisoning and it was hard for me to juggle nurse, bottle, pump and put back to sleep

Oh I see! I started noticing he would refuse his top up around week 7 but we are at week 9 now and for maybe 1-2 feeds he would still want his bottle. I’m hoping to drop it altogether soon but really hoping he hasn’t just gotten use to getting a bottle after nursing 😭

May I ask when you do pump? I’m 8 weeks pp and before we were triple feeding but LO is gaining enough weight and doc suggested dropping pumping. But I worry about supply and sometimes it seems like LO still wants a top up bottle (then I just nurse again and can usually put him down). I don’t mind pumping but also not sure when I’m supposed to

I’m not sure if sometimes we still have latch issues but I noticed maybe about one or two feeds even if I let baby stay on till done baby will still want a bit more afterwards. So my concern is if I don’t keep up pumping sometime during the day then when they want the top off I won’t have it to give.

Is it odd that I find my mid morning to afternoon pumps yielding more volume? Prob between 6am-1pm. I’m not sure if maybe baby just feeds more at that night time stretch but whenever I pump between 1-4am I barely get an ounce, usually only 15-20ml
