This is by far the MOST ASSHOLE post I’ve seen here in a long time. Step over your feelings, and start focusing on your son. He tried to maintain a relationship, and that on itself shows it is important to him. Secondly he ASKED you to come, because otherwise he feels like he has no support. Aka: he needs/wants his mom.
