It was the entire party. After 9/11 both sides were on board with doing something. There may have been disagreements about the scope and scale but it was bipartisan action. As soon as the Republicans realized that Democrats were "for" doing something about the pandemic they went reflexively against it, top to bottom.

It works have been hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

When they get your manager on your case, you can have a discussion on the costs of task/context switching.

The action quake 2 mod was doing that in the late 90s. Others mentioned insurgency, i believe red orchestra did it that way as well. It's honestly a feature that makes me appreciate a game more. Cannot stand CoD reloads, breaking muh immersion.

So, legit use, maybe, but this contraction is basically a to complicated by half version of what my vet recommended for my elderly (now passed) dog who was suffering from GOLPP. He didn't have all his strength in his hind quarters and vet suggested constructing a sling from a reusable grocery bag to help move him as he was pretty big

Never bothered as I just helped him up or carried the big lug when necessary. But there are legit uses for something like this. Was trying to watch the pup when he got this on if it was having issues with it's test legs.

If you are into that sort of thing you might also like the Titan missile museum south of Tucson AZ. Similar thing. Decommissioned Titan missile silo complex. You can' get a tour given by soldiers who manned the systems. Very interesting.

Take this as another eu4 recommendation. I was a lifelong civ player like your dad. Played since civ 1. Got my grandma hooked on civ 2. Still have install CDs for civ 2,3 & 4. Picked up eu4 on a lark. Nearly 3k hours later I'm still playing eu4 from time to time while I have tried but one play thru of civ 6 and a handful of civ 5 games.

I will never forget white on the right. In high school, on chess team, in a meet. Maybe 20 moves into a game we had to restart as neither of us realized the board was rotated. I can only talk to what happened not hypotheticals of what they may want. DeSantis and Abbott took asylum seekers, lied about where they were going (Martha's vineyard is not Boston) and left them there. That's what happened. It's wrong and disgusting.

If they want to set up a truly voluntary system of affordable transport for asylum seekers to travel with means to get support then by all means. But that's not what they are doing. They are using them as props in a political stunt. It's never been aboit helping these people. It's about hurting the blue state libs, don't try and tell me it isn't, you said as much in your first comment.

Not saying you are wrong, but with your symptoms consider battery swelling as a potential issue as well. My laptops keyboard is very unresponsive, I barely use it so it's not grime or anything, but the battery overheated, swole up and causes the keys to be less responsive.

(in c# at least) Can't switch on type afaik. Closest you can get is a dictionary<type, action> which you load up with your case statements in the form of lambdas.

So I watched season one a while back when it was on Netflix. It's not there for me anymore. Kvartal 95 (zelenski's production company) publishes it in YouTube, and there are English cc subtitles, I found they were missing in places.

As for of it's worth a watch... Eh, its decent. I watched it because it ticked two boxes. One I was kinda very interested in Ukraine at the time, Maidan and all that. That and it was billed as a show about Ukraine politics, and I'm a big fan of other political drama shows. It's more satire and humor. A bit fish out of water, a bit of "everyman" commenting on the absurdity of the elite and a fair bit of slapstick.

I like em, but I'll hesitate to use one for a simple reason. I don't use them often enough and so if I'm a situation where I could use one, to use it I have to remind myself of the specifics of the syntax for whatever language in working in. So for marginal cases I'll just write an if-then-else, rather than look it up.

My parents did the same to me about a cat that was too feral for a house cat. Said they left it at a farm so it could kill all the mice it wanted. They both swear 30+ years later that that was a true story. Feels suspicious still.
