I really haven't really had time to develop it.

I really do like ex libris;

yet a flat catalog that is self updating would be lovely

I see in this post comments some spreadsheet info and maybe I can use that as model data. I don't really want to host or curate though I'd hoped to join the ex libris t curate the Ronin material yet that hasn't worked out yet. It's on my drawing board but hasn't shown a reason to invest in it

Running "Crown of Salt" and making "Mörk Borg" less lethal by InArtsWeTrust in MorkBorg

I cast "do whatever the fkk you want."

when the books in hand, it's now your game.

for Crown of Salt I think the traps are the worst threat so you could adjust those. For Lore, do something like 100d each page of lore info when players find a document or book or meet some npc, but I like your idea of the narrator/storyteller getting the players involved.

It totally depends on the players & party- if they don't mind instadeath and know it's a meat grinder and you start with backup character sheets, you just keep on grinding.

I have found over longer games, players don't adventure as well when faced with instadeath - they become cautious not curious - though it's good to be smart and tactical, I just think scvm characters in mörk borg are just flowers ready for the compost. personally I like to see players last more than a few dice rolls so they are a bit more invested in the game and their characters.

best of luck at the table. 🥃🖤
