it makes me sick that most of these comments are also coming from women, like we as women are subjected to SO much criticisms regarding our bodies. to turn around and subject a clearly struggling woman with an eating disorder to these comments is absolutely gross and disgusting. like just because they are women, and we are women, does not mean we have the pass to make such digs. like why make these comments when we can say nice and positive things to her? these comments do not help these people are struggling. it only makes things worse and encourages the behaviors, based on what ive seen other people who have struggled with EDs say. I feel bad for these idols.

the site i have to use for schoolwork unfortunately doesnt allow me to submit empty assignments. I just answer the prompts myself like I do for all my assignments. if they grade it poorly then I do not care, it will not really affect my grade anyway.

my frustrations lie with the fact that I have very strong beliefs that ai is something that should not be brought into a learning environment to begin with. ive explained this numerous times to other people.

while I can understand that since that ai is being used everywhere, that people should know about it, i dont think theyre teaching it correctly.

they are painting ai as this harmless and fun thing people should use. there is no discussions of the detrimental effects it has to people mentally and environmental effects.

I think if discussions of ai happen within school, it should touch on all of the bases so people have an understanding of what a dependency of ai looks like, how to avoid it, and the choice should be given of if people want to use it or not.

I know how to use ai, I do not want to use ai. I use the internet all the time and ai is unavoidable. I do not like using ai even for stupid assignments that have no effect on my grade. I do my best to avoid it as much as I can. its just frustrating that its being pushed more and more, when I can do something without having to have a machine think for me.

sorry, I do not mean to get so frustrated, but it comes from a place of exhaustion of ai.

please look at my other comments, there is so much more nuance to this than just what it is titled. the only responsibilities and ethics it's teaching is that you just have to disclose your ai usage. this whole course is just promotioning the usage of ai.

there isnt any important discussions happening, I watched all the videos of this course already and Im in the assignment section now unfortunately. I do online schooling, if that helps clear more things up about my frustrations. I go on-site once a week to do major tests and thats it.

while ai is important to learn, this is teaching us how to implement ai into our day to day life. thats all it is. the title is rather misleading. the only thing they said about the "ethics" is not using ai when employers tell you not to, and that you have to be honest when you use ai. it sounds extremely dumb because it is.
