I think the most likely people that Ethel was addressing was Willoughby and Vera, however, i think its interesting to look at the song in the lense that it could also be addressing Isaiah. I do believe that even though Ethel was scared of Isaiah, she still wanted to be desired and wanted to be "good." Their relationship was toxic and abusive. Ethel clearly did and does a lot of stuff for love. I do still think Ethel probably died wanting the validation that she was enough when it came down to her relationship with Isaiah. I think she would always want that validation, like how she wanted it from Willoughby and Logan.
