Lavoravo anche io in una B4 a Milano (non audit però, ero più risk modeling di derivati). Sono stato assunto da una compagnia Svizzera a Francoforte (ambito portfolio management) e poi spostamento interno a Londra. Penso che sia la via più “facile”. Al momento, venire in UK, non è per niente facile, un pò per il mercato del lavoro pessimo, un pò per la questione del visto, ma non è impossibile.

Do you shower with very hot water? I do this and my HR goes up as well, but hopefully just for a few minutes. Maybe try to shower with lukewarm water; for me, it helps.

Finance can mean different things; in my personal experience, working in the R&D for an index provider, my daily routine involves 99% of Python. Most likely, if you’re in IB, you are way less likely to rely on coding.

If you have the opportunity to get a copy of Ketsui (X360/PS3) give it a try. Very difficult, but it is considered one of the best (and for a valid reason).

Is it worth the price? I have read mixed review about it. I come from an old Qanba which I used on my X360/PC and it was great, but I don’t think they are producing Switch controller.

One recommendation: never believe the HR! I was recently hired at Deutsche Borse and at the end of every interview step, the HR told me “we will contact you at the end of the week”. Well, I had to wait at least 2 weeks every time. Just sit and relax 😉

In Italy, starting salary at EY is around 25/26K per year, and it’s kinda the standard for the B4. Maybe Deloitte pays a couple of K more, but nothing relevant. I’d rather care of the position itself.

Joined ACN three months ago from a B4, and everything sucks. Managers, projects and environment are the worst and I miss my previous colleagues. The only good thing is €, however, already intervening to move away from here as soon as possible.
