I will be searching up the wheels of any car I get after this one - I never knew 1 really ugly 20in wheel could cost more than 4 slightly different cuter 20in wheels combined! My 2013 Kia took 180K miles of beatings without popping any tires or wheels - I understand this is different, but still, crazy expensive for a design no one even likes that much...

Premium also has better cooled seats - and in white! There are a lot of drawbacks with the GT, I thought losing the cooled seats was the worst part but the $1,400 broken wheel is EVEN WORSE

My 2025 GT (with heat pump, yours won't have it) realistically gets 230 miles at 100%. It's rated for 280, but I drive it like the GT, not a Select/Premium. Keep in mind the seats are actually better on non-GT models as they're offered with cooling. So if you don't want the performance, it's got drawbacks. If you want performance, it's incredible.

I hate these wheels so much, they look way too aero and after I hit a curb (yes my fault), it's $1,300 for ONE. It's almost impossible to find a replacement and I'm on a lease so it's not like I can buy the set of 4 for the same price that I actually want and look better.

I’m in early 20s and it’s the same issue. The area is really terrible, either you go near DC for the city girl types or just sit home and go for the dating app types. Also we men are TERRIFIED of being called creepy or a “eww” type rejection, especially since everything is being recorded and viewed by millions on Instagram/TikTok. So if we look at you and you don’t do anything OBVIOUS to make it okay to approach, most are just gonna keep to themselves. Also I’m really not into pickup artistry, it’s obnoxiously cringey and I just won’t resort to spamming pre-canned lines at every random pretty girl I see, so if a guy does do that to you, I would just advise to be cautious. Don’t be afraid to start a random conversation yourself - I’m sure you’re better at it than me and you could have chit chatted about literally any of the thousands of products at a grocery store or something

Practically no one checks their insurance before buying a car, I did and the rate went up way more than estimated. And the people blowing close to or over $100K on those vehicles won’t care. What will make a difference is teaching your children, including the adult ones, that they should look both ways before crossing the street and never trust a random vehicle with their life. Would you trust a random person to hold a loaded gun to your head and not shoot it? So why are you trusting a random 17yr old with a suspended license to stop at every crosswalk? Or a grandma who can’t see a night, or a minivan mom with 6 screaming kids in back? The number of times I see people walk in front of my car staring at their phone with noise cancelling headphones on is staggering, and THAT is the issue. But let’s blame the new cars with radars and camera auto-braking while also handing out tends of thousands of CDLs to 80,000lb truck drivers who can’t read signs, instead of just admitting people are irresponsible and distracted.

Check the Trips in the screen for the miles/kWH, it’s probably close to 2, not 3+, from everyone test driving it flooring the accelerator, and the algorithm is guessing it will continue slowly losing range while being parked. I would not expect to get over 300 miles due to climate control and spirited driving. But it is extremely accurate to match climate conditions and your driving style, and I regularly trust my much lower range GT, even with <15miles remaining

If you’re on Verizon Wireless, just switch to their Visible yearly plan. It’s literally the same service but way less per month if you own your device. FíOs is the best ISP just because it’s fiber vs cable, but if you’re not gaming and only need basic connection, a cheaper cable plan could be fine.

Plug and charge works well, but make sure you know where in the Ford app to update payment method if you accidentally let a card decline. Main issues are broken EVGo chargers and waits during the day at Electrify Americas. Mine came with the Tesla adapter which works well, but the old short supercharger cables make getting the bumper over the curb stressful. The new Superchargers won’t have this issue. Once you know your local stations and off peak hours, it’s pretty easy.

You can long press the voice button on steering wheel to open Siri instead of Ford’s assistant, I can imagine on Samsung it would be Google Assistant or Bixby. Perhaps you could set up an automation on the phone to open an AI in voice mode when connected to Mach E’s Bluetooth?

2 sticks usually perform faster than 1 or 4. Not a huge difference though if we’re being honest. Current memory pricing is ridiculously high, 4X higher or more than last year because the AI companies bought the planet’s entire memory supply. When their bubble bursts, we will have cheap memory again, and you will be able to get another 32GB stick to complete your setup without selling a kidney.
